Skype call 25/01/20
So I just finished my first skype call of the year. It was very successful.
We spoke about how to dive back into our studies and where to find the resources we are going to need. We talked about the first week back quiz and how to use this next coming week to read over our module/programme handbooks. Everything we need to answer the quiz will be in those handbooks.
We then went on to discuss how important it is to comment and read different peoples blogs. Everyone agreed that by discussing different subjects on each others blogs, really helped with understanding what you are meant to be doing.
I will definitely be doing this because I really struggled to understand exactly what I am doing and setting time aside to focus on my blog and comment on others.
I am nervous to dive back into my studies and expanded my knowledge, but what i have learnt since starting this course is feeling confused and uncomfortable in what i am doing, is how i should be feeling, because growing and expanding your knowledge is uncomfortable and confusing, which then makes you ask more questions and before you know it, you have learnt something new and in some way answered your own questions.
So from monday onwards I will start my reading of the module two handbook and put in my diary the deadline dates and future skype calls.
until next time kids...

Hi Chloe, Interested to know, which research topic you decided to research in module 2/3? I am heading into module 2 and finding it hard to stick to a focus at the moment! check my blog out https://swattsonstage.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteHi Emily, I am actually in the same position as you. I'm just starting module two and researching new ideas. so far what i feel has helped me, is writing out every idea you have in a mind map around your practice. Then maybe research each topic and whatever one you naturally feel you are drawn to, that is the one. Definitely choose a subject you have a lot of interest in and that can help you develop your practice further in the future. I hope that has helped a little bit? Best . Chlo xx
