Dry Martini with a side of intelligence
So I just got home from the beautiful island Crete with my amazing boyfriend. The sun was shinning, the water was clear blue and the drinks were flowing. Truly beautiful! However whilst in paradise, I had my first one to one Skype call with my supervisor, who advised me on all that I have to do. Skype is very new to me, which might be shocking to some, as I am shamefully addicted to social media. Overall the Skype call went very well and I felt I understood the course a little better.
Over the first few days in paradise, I read through the module one hand book (whilst sipping on a G&T). It wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. By reading different ways of learning and growing as a person, it made me feel a lot more confident in my studies.
It taught me that it is okay to fail and not understand everything. Because if we knew everything, what is there to learn? Its giving me the confidence to ask questions, whether I think they are smart or not.
I'm still not 100% clear on everything I have to do, but i'm sure the more I ask questions, the clearer everything will become!
That's it for now kids, over and out!
